About the role: The Faceoff Social Media Manager is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and managing all company social media accounts. Social media accounts include, but are not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube. This person will work closely with our staff, reporting to the Director of Marketing, to develop social media strategies and campaigns that help us achieve our goals.
Types of Responsibilities: Social Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that amplifies brand visibility and engagement.
  • Conduct regular social media audits to assess performance and refine strategies based on analytics and audience feedback.
  • Develop and execute content distribution plans and schedules to maximize reach and engagement.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster a positive online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and addressing inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to actively participate in discussions relevant to the brand.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to measure the success of social media campaigns.
  • Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize reach, engagement, and overall social media effectiveness.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns, including paid advertising efforts, to promote product launches, events, and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between social media campaigns and overall marketing objectives.

Stay Informed on Industry Trends:

  • Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, incorporating new and innovative approaches to keep the brand’s social media presence fresh and relevant.
  • Provide recommendations for new strategies and tools that can enhance the brand’s social media performance and maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape.
Ideal Candidate Skills:       Experience and Expertise:

  • A proven track record in social media management with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful social media strategies across various platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of each major social media platform’s features, algorithms, and best practices.

      Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the brand’s message and engage with the online community.
  • The ability to convey the brand’s tone and style across different platforms while maintaining consistency and authenticity.

      Analytical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • The capability to interpret data and derive actionable insights, leading to informed decisions and continuous improvement of social media strategies.

      Creativity:

  • Creative thinking and the ability to communicate innovative content ideas that resonate with the target audience.

      Adaptability and Tech-Savviness:

  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of social media platforms, staying updated on algorithm changes, new features, and emerging trends.
