Xavier Ware is from Beaufort, North Carolina. He has been drumming since he was two years old. He started in church and went on to perform in churches around my local and surrounding areas. With church, came school. Schooling allowed me to develop my music reading skills as well as perfecting my musical ability in dynamics and strengthening musical techniques. I gigged throughout high school at various breweries with many different musicians and also learned how to play jazz drumset. This opened up the opportunity to audition and make the All State jazz band in North Carolina. In college I learned a little bit of music theory and enhanced my jazz drumming. College opened up an even more musical touch to my playing and my touch has not been the same since! College gave me the chance to experience jam sessions and one on one drum and percussion lessons. Thomas Taylor (drum instructor) pushed me hard while I was there. He knew what would be in store if I put the work in. After dropping out of college,I gigged around the triangle area of North Carolina for a few years gigging with people I had never met as well as people from the school of music. Drums have opened up touring opportunities and sparked amazing friendships along the way! I hope my sound can touch every heart, soul, and mind in any venue! All my success comes from the father above! I am very grateful for the opportunity to play and the opportunities for the future!
